個人にはその人数分の記憶があり、
その記憶の虫が集まり聖獣（国家）を形成する。
聖獣が陥る病はその虫一匹一匹に影響を及ぼし、
その痛みが聖（成）獣の動きに影響を及ぼす。
因果関係で結ばれる個人と国家。
ある聖獣が虫ではなく脳により動き出し、
その事により虫が一匹一匹倒れてしまったら。
その時その衰弱し老衰したその目で何を見るのか
生命の興りから進化、そしてその行方。
私達がまだ人の形を成す前の所作。
まるで全てを観てきたかの様な、
人間離れした人間業によりそれが目の前に立ち上がる。
言葉よりも遥かに雄弁な記憶としてのダンス。

OrganWorksでの平原は一貫して形面上的な物をテーマに作品を創っているように思える。
哲学者が膨大な言葉を費やして語ろうとしたことを、ダンスによって直感しようとする試みのようでもある。
ストイックなパフォーマンスは祈りの様相を呈し、ある時は彼がシャーマンのように見えた。
今回も概念としての「聖獣」を舞台に召喚してくれるはずだ。

かっこいいと思わせる舞台である。
無機的な動きが続くのかと思うと、そこに動物的な動きが混入される。
儀式性を形成しながら身体のなかにある宇宙を垣間見せる。
そこから物語があふれてくる。
ダンスに身を浸す、そんな時間を堪能してください。

While researching insects,
I learned that ants and bees form organizations like humans, assign roles, and fight with each other.
Inspired by the book “Leviathan” by the British philosopher Hobbes,
who sees swarms of insects as “countries” and likens nations to beasts in the Old Testament,
I chose the title “Leviathan.” The subtitle “live with a sun” is not just a play on words,
but also a reference to “living with the sun” and the idea that the Hinomaru (sun) is Japan.
