The theme of this time is “chorus.”
Chorus, who sang, danced, and told stories, existed before ancient Greek drama.
Then, from among the chorus, “actors” emerged, and the story developed into Greek tragedy,
and the chorus’ roles changed within it. What does their existence and changes signify?
Now, let’s turn to the present day.
“Mob” and “ensemble” are used in a similar sense to “chorus.”
Individuality and lack of individuality, cooperation and harmony, consciousness and unconsciousness… perhaps there are actually many differences to be found here.
Why is “chorus” still used in modern times and not replaced by similar words?
